The ranch is situated at the mouth of a valley that gazes out over Sweetwater Creek towards the slickrock paradise that is the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch boasts 168-acres of walking paths, pastures, and wetland ponds that provide guests with an intimate immersion into the high desert environment. Whether you choose to read a book on the deck or embark on an epic hike, a day here can be as mellow or as active as you’d like. At the end of the day, join us at our onsite restaurant, Sweetwater Kitchen, where our staff cooks up a made from scratch, organic menu.

Sweetwater Kitchen is located inside the Main Lodge at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch offering sweeping views of the property from our inside and outside dining rooms. The cuisine is concentrated on sustainable, local, and organic flavors with neo-American and international influences. Produce is sourced from our on-site garden and you will find a myriad of other local and Utah premium products decorating the seasonally changing menus. Vegans, vegetarians, and anyone with a food sensitivity will feel at home at Sweetwater Kitchen

Since day one, responsible land management and sustainable practices have been at the core of our mission. We are committed to protecting resources that our beautiful landscape offers, and we’re always searching for new ways to conserve, amend and enhance our soils, replenish our lands and increase and conserve our water sources. Some of the projects we’ve completed in the past are key lining our pastures, creating wetland ponds, planting native seeds and trees, growing our own organic veggies, and raising grass-fed, grass-finished beef for our restaurant, Sweetwater Kitchen.
